Tidal offers two plans. Both are HiFi Plus plans that proved the same audio formats, over 90 million songs, and 450 thousand videos to enjoy all ad-free and even offline.
Tidal Quality
Tidal uses Hi-Fi audio and has the highest quality streams, higher than even its biggest competitors. You can stream audio files as high as 1411 kbps. For comparison, Spotify streams at only 320kbps. Some may argue that it’s hard to tell the difference, but if you have expensive earbuds and headphones your ears will definitely thank you.

Tidal is owned by Jay-Z owning 20% and Square with the majority of ownership with 80%. What I like most about Tidal is that it has the biggest payouts that go directly to the artists. No other music streaming service gives artists a higher percentage of royalties than Tidal.
So with all things between equal between Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and Tidal (and they’re not), not only do I like using Tidal simply because it provides the artists with more funds than the other music streaming services, but because they also have the best audio quality often at a better price point.
